EXTREMELY RARE

Second edition of an extremely rare guide book for the Philippine Islands, especially Manila.
With extensive information on inhabitants, climate, pharmacies; administrative, commercial… a gem.
This edition apparently did not include the Manila map which was replaced by a shipping route map from Cadiz to Manila and Hong Kong.

with handwritten notes on title page, with extensive writing in Tagalog, dated.
p.109 map – paper edge brittle on lower right margin.
p.340 map – professionally repaired tear from left margin into plate.
