A very unusual and attractive hand-coloured map, a copper engraving with a cartouche of antique coins in the lower left. RARE map from “Descriptio Orbis Antiqui…”. Johann David Köhler was a German Historian, Numismatic and Heraldic scientist. Christoph Weigel (ca. 1654-1725) was a well known copper engraver, art dealer and publisher.
