EXTREMELY RARE costume print from the quite rare album “La Géographie en estampes, ou Mœurs et costumes “des différens peuplesde la terre””,[Geography in Prints or Customs and Costumes of the Different Peoples of the Earth]. Jacques Louis Constant Le Cerf was a French printmaker and possibly lithographer, active in Paris between 1814 and 1824. He is known for creating engravings and lithographs, with some of his works depicting French royalty and other historical subjects.
