EXTREMELY RARE. This is the very difficult to find First Edition map on a full page with text (sheet pp. 311/312), from the “Geography Rectified or: A Description of the World”; published by R. Morden & Thomas Cockerill in London.
The Englishman Morden (1668-1703) was a cartographer and maker of instruments & globes.
The first edition of 1680 (without page no. 45), 2nd edition 1688 (sheet pp. 435/436, without page no. 45), 3rd edition 1693 (with page no. 45), 4th edition 1700 and later.
