Description
original-colour chromolithograph, explanatory text in black on “Manilla” on verso. RARE.
An Excellent Trade Card by The Singer Manufacturing Co. , published in 1892 for the “Singer In Foreign Lands” series. Since this version shows verso text – unlike those with text in front – , it is likely that the set of cards including this Manila card, was produced for the 1893 Columbian Exposition / Chicago World’s Fair, IL.
