Anson’s HMS Centurion captures Manila Treasure Galleon Cabadonga off Samar on 20 June 1743.

Admiral Sir Peircy Brett (1709-1781) was a Royal Navy officer. As a junior officer he served on George Anson’s ‘A Voyage Round the World…’
James Mason (1710-1783) was a British engraver.

Condition

with folds as issued, paper toning, with burn mark on upper right margin, with tear on left and right margin, with remnants on margins partly into plate; cleaned. Condition considered when priced.
