hand-coloured copper engraving map from ‘Lo Stato Presente di Tutti…’; Italian edition of Thomas Salmon’s ‘Modern History: or, the present state of all Nations’. Attribution to Dutch bookseller, publisher, and cartographer Isaak Tirion (1705 – 1765) appears in the cartouche. Albrizzi was the first publisher to issue Tirion’s maps whose own atlas was issued in Amsterdam only in 1744.
