Very decorative map from the “Atlante Veneto”, pp.120/121. Three cartouches: one with a dedication to the Venice Royal House, one with a mileage scale, and the title cartouche showing ocean cherubs holding a coat of arms, with many details like small villages, rivers, mountains, coast lines, small islands and bays. Coronelli is reputedly the best Italian mapmaker of his time, famous for his globe of 5 metres in diameter for Louis XIV.
