Johann Georg Schreiber (1676-1745), cartographer and geographer, was born and lived in Leipzig; he also published his own “Atlas Selectus” in 1740, reissued 1749. Probst – together with his business partner Conrad Tobias Lotter, the son-in-law of Georg Matthäus Seutter, ran Seutter’s printing business after his death.
