First edition. Abella’s zealous approach to the history of the Catholic Church in the dioceses of Nueva Caceres and the obedience of the bishops who led the other dioceses are embodied in his work. He highlighted the emergence of Bishop Luis Maldonado O.F.M. as well as all who followed this bishop, until finally the youngest archbishop of Nueva Caceres, Pedro Santos, during whose time – as Luis General, Jr. says. in his column in Balalong (April 1, 1977 release) – the printing of the said book was funded by the Church.
